Pancakes with apple syrup Recipe !

Pancakes with apple syrup . Yes its the most healthiest food you can have. And off course its quickiest to make as-well. So here I am going to share with you how I made pancakes with apple syrup and topped it with peanut butter and bananas.

Ingredients :

For Pancakes

  • Quaker Oats ( 35 g -> 141 calories )
  • Egg ( 2 whole -> 180 calories )
  • MPCombat cookies and cream whey protein (1 scoop 32 g -> 120 calories )

For Toppings over Pancakes –

  • Apple syrup
  • Skippy Extra crunchy natural super chunk peanut butter spread ( 1 tbsp 16g -> 95 calories )
  • Banana ( 1 banana 64 g -> 56 calories )

For Apple Syrup

  • Apple – peeled, cored and sliced (1 apple 104 g -> 52 calories )
  • Water ( 3-4 tablespoon )


Directions :

To make apple syrup –

  • In a saucepan, combine the apple and water.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Reduce the heat to low, and simmer to 10 minutes or until apples are soft and syrup has thickened.
  • Serve over pancakes.

Note :- You can even add sugar but this would increase the calories as apple is already sweet so I dint add sugar to it and still liked it.

To make pancakes –

  • Place raw, uncooked oatmeal in a blender.
  • Add 2 eggs and protein powder and blend until smooth.
  • Place a skillet or  non stick pan on medium-high heat and measure out about 2 tbsp of batter per pancake.
  • Cover the pancakes while they cook to help the inside cook faster. Cook them for about 45 seconds to 1 minute on the first side, flip when the edge starts browning and then about 30-45 seconds on the other side.
  • The recipe makes 3-4 small pancakes.
  • Serve with a tablespoon of peanut butter, apple syrup and bananas.

So here is my fast, simple and easy to cook Fusilli Pasta which you can have even if you want to gain or lose weight with this recipe I am going to share. You’l be astonished to know that there is so much less calories if you will make using this ingredients.





Ingredients :

Ottima Fusilli Pasta (85gm –> 310 calories)

Borges Extra Virgin olive oil (5gm –> 45 calories)

Broccoli (60gm –> 20 calories)

1 Onion

Amul pasteruised toned milk (100ml –> 58 calories)

Veeba Olive oil mayonnaise (10gm –> 27 calories)
Britannia cheezza (10gm –> 30 calories)





Note :- One thing to note is that you can change the quantity of oil or milk or the amount of mayo or cheese if you need to add more or add more vegetables like capsicum, olives but if you will increase any of those quantity your calories would also increase. So just make sure whatever you will add more just to add more calories to it.

Procedure : 

Cook Pasta in water, drain and rinse with cold water water until completely cool.

Heat some oil in a pan and add all the vegetables. I added broccoli and onion. Stir until the vegetables are cooked.

Add milk and the pasta and mix thoroughly.

Now add mayonnaise, salt, oregano, chilli flakes and mix thoroughly.

Finally add the grated cheese (britannia cheezza) on top and let it heat for 1 min.

Now your dish is ready! Hope you enjoy it 🙂

How to lose 2 lbs per week

Losing 2 lbs per week is not difficult if you know this formula. Losing 2 lbs per week is considered to be healthy while maintaining your muscle mass ( it involves a lot of other things too ). If you are obese and way too overweight, you can lose more after knowing this formula.The most important aspect is to have knowledge about calories.

What are calories?

Calories are the little bastards that enters into your wardrobe at night and sew your clothes tighter. So if you want to lose or maintain your weight, you have to consume food within your calorie limits.

In my first post from how to lose weight, losing weight is no rocket science. It is simple. You need to create a calorie deficit everyday. It is the #1 requirement to lose weight. What i mean by calorie deficit is the amount of calories you burn each day should be more than calories you consume each day.

So, How many calories does your body need everyday? There are a lot of online calculators that can get you started in a minute.

My favourite is : Calculate calories to lose weight

For example : If your daily calorie requirement which your body needs to function properly is 2500 calories ( calorie burning from your daily activities and exercise ), you need to consume 1500 calories from food to create a 1000 calorie deficit each day. That will be a 1000 calorie deficit each day in this case.

7 days ( a week ) deficit would be 7000 calories.

1 pound equals 3500 calories.

So if you want to lose 2 pounds per week, you need to create 7000 calories deficit per week or 1000 calorie deficit each day.

Now, here comes the hard part.

A lot of people think that they are eating less calories and eating healthy but not losing weight. Eating healthy can make you gain weight too. You just have to make sure you are eating less calories than you burn.

Notes :

  • I Would not recommend eating less than 1500 calories for men and 1400 calories for women each day as your body need nutrients to function properly. It may harm you in the long run.
  • The Ideal rate for weight loss per week should not be more than 2 lbs per week unless you are way too overweight or obese.
