The greatest effect of falling in love is seeing the positive side of that person rather than their negative one. We have to reverse the cause with effect to create love.
Instead of foolishly criticising people, whenever we meet someone, we should pay close attention to what is good in that person. Why should you be interested in the negatives if you wish to love a person? If you focus on the positives and goodness in an individual, you will be able to see many good things in that individual. In time, you should find it easy to genuinely appreciate that person. True appreciation is like nectar to the soul, nourishing the person and in turn adding to the happiness in this world. In the words of Dale Carnegie, ‘You have it easily in your power to increase the sum total of this world’s happiness now. How? By giving a few words of sincere appreciation to someone who is lonely or discouraged.’
The greatest mystery of love is that it is usually not one-sided.When you genuinely love someone, chances are it will be reciprocated. It is like gravity. If one particle attracts another particle, the other particle automatically attracts the first one with equal force.
It is the law of the human soul that you cannot hate a person for long who loves you, and you find it tough to love a person for long who hates you. The feelings are uncontrolled in nature, which feed each other.
